But are eligible for championship trophies with a deposit of £10 per trophy.

Membership cards must be produced at entry desk.

Please note: It is the members responsibility to ensure that their membership number is entered on all entries, failure to comply will result in points being forfieted.

CAVERSWALL RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

PLEASE READ ALL RULES CAREFULLY

  1. Riders age as at 1st January.
  2. Judges decision is final. Any confrontation with a Judge is strictly forbidden.
  3. No unauthorised persons are allowed in the ring at any time.
  4. Points can only be acquired on the same Horse / Pony / Rider / Handler combination.
  5. Names of horses and ponies must remain the same for the season to qualify for points.
  6. The Committee reserves the right to cancel or amend the schedule or rules at their discretion.
  7. Anyone seen riding in a dangerous manner, or ill treating a horse or pony , will be disqualified from any competition and no refund will be given.
  8. Members are axpected to conduct themselves in an orderly manner at all times. it is to be understoodthat the use of bad language, or behaviour which may bring the club into disrepute,will result in members being ordered off the showground and therefore, being the possibility of further disciplinary action.
  9. Lead Rein handlers will be accepted as non- competing members. All lead rein competitors must be lead by an adult ( 18 Years and over )
  10. All horses and ponies in ridden classes must be 4 years old or over.
  11. Family memberships include only parents and their off spring, married children are deemed to be adults of another family. We recommend that Body Protectors are worn as standard.
  12. Annual points and trophies will be awarded, in each class, to the full member gaining the most points over the season, with the same horse or pony. In Hand Classes, Annual Points Trophies will be awarded on the horse or pony, but handlers must be a member and proof given.
  13. Points will be awarded to full members, no points will be given to day members.
  14. Membership cards must be produced when making entries.
  15. All riders must be correctly dressed whilst in the ring and British Standard hard hats must be worn when mounted, anywhere in the showground. Chinstraps must be fastened when mounted.
  16. Horses and Ponies must not be left unattended unless securely boxed and must not be tethered in the vicinity of the showing or jumping rings.
  17. All dogs must be on a lead.
  18. No responsibility is accepted by the committee for any accident, injury, loss, damage or illness to spectators, horses or ponies, riders and their property however caused.
  19. Compliants must be made in writing with a £10 deposit and will be considered at the first available Committee Meeting and any change of results declared will be notified to those concerned.
  20. Ponies must be 148cm and under. Horses must exceed 148cm.
  21. Stallions must be handled by an adult (18 Years and over). Riders must be 1 Years and over.
  22. No Memberships accepted after the August show.
  23. Points will be deemed void should any trophies or monies be outstanding to the club.
  24. The committee recommends that all competitors have third party liability insurance.
